Matt Erpenbeck

Biography: Originally from Dade City, Florida. Matt has lived in Indian River County for the past 15 years. He was first elected commissioner to the Indian River Mosquito Control District Board in 2020. He has earned the designation of Certified District Official from the Florida Association of Special Districts.
Currently, Matt is a member of the Florida Mosquito Control Association and the Florida Association of Special Districts. In the past, he has served as the President of the Taxpayers’ Association of Indian River County, Vice-Chair of the Government Affairs Committee for the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce, served on the board of the Indian River 4H Foundation, and a graduate of the Hendry/Glades Leadership program.
Matt's educational background consists of an undergraduate degree from Florida State University and an MBA from Florida Southern College.
His interests include enjoying the outdoors and landscape photography.
